Collin "CarbonDogma" Davis spoke to David "Davidp" Prins at the ESEA MDL S29 Global Challenge to get his thoughts on 3DMAX qualifying for the ESL Pro League, as well as to find out how they will deal with the loss of two players.
Before 3DMAX came out victorious in the Global Challenge, the squad managed to top Season 29 of ESEA MDL following a win over Virtus.pro, with which the squad qualified for the next season of ESL Pro League.

In Dallas, the Francophone team played with Audric "JACKZ" Jug and Lucas "Lucky" Chastang, whose departure to G2 was an important topic of discussion in our interview with Davidp. The Belgian also commented on qualifying for the big league with the win over the Poles.
I want to start off with MDL, you have now won two MDL seasons in a row, how was it, being able to win back-to-back seasons like that?
It feels like we proved we can take our spot among teams who are in the EPL. We have a place there.
How did it feel when JaCkz and Lucky went to G2?
It's a hard loss, to be honest, because they are friends as well as teammates. It was hard, we grinded a lot with them, it was a lot of work. Online, you were using hAdji and Fearoth in your matches, are they on trial, stand-ins, or what's their status?
They are stand-ins at the moment. We tried some players, but we don't know yet with whom we're going to play. Now we have an EPL spot, so we will just see and talk with Maka and JiNKZ about who we want to pick, who the best players would be to fit us. We're just going to talk about it and we'll see who we're going to pick.
At this event, you guys played a really strong game against Virtus.pro, did you expect it to be that easy?
Not easy, to be honest. I saw them work a lot in these last few days, I saw the Malta LAN, SuperNova, I watched them and they were playing decently. I expected us to be better than them, but I didn't expect it to be so "easy". We prepared for the match, we did some analysis of their maps, so it was easier to win, as well.
You mentioned before that you have a Pro League spot, how does it feel to be able to play there?
It's great, it has been a dream for me since I started playing the game to be in the same court as those teams. I'm just going to grind more, play more, work more, to qualify for the finals in EPL. At the Global Challenge, you had a big comeback versus Kinguin, what do you think happened to help you do that?
We never gave up, we won some clutches and they made some mistakes. Our coach helped us, as well, he took a tactical pause and told us what to do, he motivated us, so we never gave up. With these five players, it was easy to do comebacks, we trust each other, everything was perfect with that five.
